Morrow, Day named as Week 2 POTW

Quarterbacks provided the big plays during Week 2 of the 2022 season for the selections for both the Jasper and Wal-Win Southeast Hospice/WJLX Players of the Week.

Tanner Morrow made his first start against archrival Cullman on Friday night, with the freshman completing 13 of 21 of his passes for 141 yards, two touchdowns and an interception to be named as the Southeast Hospice/WJLX Jasper Player of the Week.

Curry’s Josh Day had a big hand in the Yellow Jackets’ 42-21 victory that broke a 35-game losing streak as he threw for four touchdown passes and earned Southeast Hospice/WJLX Player of the Week honors for the Wal-Win area.
