Members of the 2023 WJLX All Wal-Win Area Team were announced on Monday, recognizing the stellar accomplishments of players to their programs throughout the concluded season.
Each member of the All Wal-Win Area Team will be recognized at the WJLX Football Awards Ceremony on Saturday night, Jan. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Jasper Civic Center. Former Alabama running back and National Champion Trent Richardson will be the guest speaker. The event is open to all fans of high school football.
All members of the team are also finalists for four of the awards that will be presented at the Ceremony: Lineman of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and the 2023 Wal-Win Football MVP.
Awards for Coach of the Year and the “Making a Difference” award, highlighting a member of the community who goes above and beyond the call to serve a school or program will also be presented.
Tickets for the event are $25 per person or $200 for a table of 8 and can be purchased online by clicking here. This includes dinner served by Five Loaves in Jasper.
