WJLX 101.5 FM’s catchphrase of “High atop the Hendon Building” to indicate the station’s location will soon be no more.

After 15 years at its current location, WJLX is moving to new studios at 1508 Highway 78 in the coming weeks — a move which will allow the station to maximize its quality not only in broadcasting, but other projects the company has undertaken.

The newest location will offer new and more modern radio studios for WJLX programming, enhancing the audio production for long-time listeners and new audience members on the air waves, through the on-line stream and over the WJLX 101.5 app.

The new audio production studio will allow for creative advertising, as well also accommodating podcasting. An additional production area will serve WJLX’s video projects, further enhancing interviews, features and live streaming events with a quality that leads to an extraordinary visual experience.

The new office and business area will provide a relaxed work environment for the WJLX staff, as well as a welcoming atmosphere for advertisers, customers and guests for the station.

“WJLX has many exciting projects and events happening both in the present and in the future — we felt that this was the perfect time for us to relocate to a new facility that allows us to maximize our potential in audio and video broadcasts and production,” WJLX station manager Brett Elmore said. “It’s our view that the relocation to our new facility is an investment that will push us to the top with a growing Jasper. Each member of our WJLX family is thrilled with our new location as it represents the bright future we see in our community that we are all a part of.”
