TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WJLX) – Sophomore Keelon Russell has been named the starting quarterback as Alabama prepares to kick off their season against East Carolina in two weeks.
ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported Saturday morning that Russell has won the job over Austin Mack.
Russell appeared in two games last season, throwing for 143 yards and two touchdowns.
