Authorities with the Walker County Sherriff’s Office have arrested Robert Earl Wilson, age 56 of Boldo, for attempted murder.
The Walker County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team responded to a location in Boldo Monday night after receiving a call of a victim that had been run over by a vehicle and beaten with a pipe. Deputies located the suspect, who they identified as Wilson, at his residence where he barricaded himself inside the home with two other individuals. Numerous attempts to negotiate a surrender with the suspect were unsuccessful.
The SWAT team made entry into the home and took the suspect into custody.
Investigators also seized 2.6 ounces of marijuana from the residence. Additional charges are expected for unlawful imprisonment and possession of marijuana 1st degree, according to a WCSO Facebook post.
