The Dora Bulldogs opened Class 4A, Region 6 competition with a 28-0 shutout of the Hanceville Bulldogs on Friday night in Hanceville.
Dora got the scoring started in the first quarter following a big run by Jarmarcus Goodman when Garrett Hogland connected with Brennan Davis on a touchdown pass for a 7-0 lead.
Hogland found Jaden McDavid on another touchdown pass in the second quarter, then went into halftime up 21-0 following a 12-yard scoring run by Goodman.
Hogland and Davis connected again on a 36-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter for Dora’s final score of the game for the 28-0 decision.
Dora (2-1, 1-0) stays in region play next Friday night when they travel to Oneonta.
