The Bevill State Bears notched two wins over Columbia State on Tuesday, winning Game 1, 7-0 and Game 2, 4-1.
Anna Lacy picked up the shutout win in Game 1, giving up five hits with two strikeouts in seven innings in the circle.
At the plate, Catherine Hickey went 3 for 4 with a homerun and two RBIs, Santana Clark added a homerun, a run scored and an RBI, Savannah Neely had a double with two RBIs, Magen Caro and Jana Morrow both had a hit with a run scored, Katie Puckett recorded a hit, Sydney Borden had an RBI and scored a run and MacKenzie Kirby scored a run.
Katelyn Makemson got the seven-inning win in Game 2, giving up seven hit, one earned run and recording two strikeouts.
Offensively, Hickey went 3 for 4 with a run scored, an RBI and two doubles, Clark was 3 for 4 with two runs scored and an RBI, Kirby went 2 for 3 with an RBI, Puckett had a hit with an RBI, Brentli Champion recorded a hit and Brandy Johnson scored a run.
