The Bevill State Bears had few answers for the second-half offense surge of the Wallace State-Hanceville Lions as they fell 81-54 on Monday nightat Tom Drake Coliseum.
Jervae Peters led the Bears with 22 points, while Carterius Evans scored 14 points.
Bevill State rallied from an early 14-point deficit to pull within four at halftime, 33-29.
The Lions outscored the Bears 48-24 in the second half en route to the 81-54 final.
Bevill State plays the hosting-Snead State Parsons on Thursday.
