The Bevill State Bears dropped two additional games to the nation’s No. 2 team, the Wallace State-Hanceville Lions, 7-0 in Game 1 and 4-0 in Game 2 on Friday.
In Game 1, Anna Lacy pitched six innings. At the plate, MacKenzie Kirby, Savannah Neely, Jana Morrow and Brandy Johnson all recorded a hit.
In Game 2, Katelyn Makemson pitched seven innings with two strikeouts. Offensively, Neely went 2 for 3 and Katie Puckett hit a double.
Sumiton Christian’s Baillie Hall pitched seven shut-out innings for the Lions in Game 2, giving up three hits with seven strikeouts.
