Alison Kelly pitched three innings in the win for Sumiton Christian, giving up three hits and an earned run with five strikeouts. Kalista Cornelison and Maddie McCrary shared time in the circle in relief.

Howse pitched three innings with three strikeouts. Wright pitched the remaining two innings, giving up a hit with five strikeouts.
At the plate, Kay had a hit with a run scored and Taylor Mancone hit a triple.

Sumiton Christian 5, Dora 3

Sumiton Christian took the lead late and defeated Dora 5-3 on Saturday. The game was tied at three with the Eagles batting in the top of the tenth when Justin Hicks doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Landon Shumate led the Eagles to victory on the hill. He allowed two hits and one run over five and two-thirds innings, striking out four. Yancey Young threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Ryan Harris took the loss for Dora. Harris allowed four hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out two and walking one.
Young led Sumiton Christian with two hits in five at bats.
Jeffery Pruitt went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead Dora in hits.
