Sumiton Christian 17, Meek 4

Sumiton Christian defeated Meek 17-4 on Friday thanks to nine runs in the fourth inning.
The Eagles’ big bats were led by Landon Shumate, Austin Scobey, Yancey Young, Sam Nix, Tyler Ingle, and Ashton Whiten, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs.
Ingle got the win for Sumiton Christian, allowing five hits and four runs over five innings, striking out four.
Cam Deaver took the loss for Meek. He went two and a third innings, allowing seven runs on three hits and striking out one.
Sumiton Christian racked up 12 hits. Nix, Ingle, and White all managed multiple hits for the Eagles, with Nix going 3-for-3 at the plate.
Carbon Hill 10, Lamar Co. 8
Braden Amerson pitched four innings, giving up four hits with six strikeouts. Clay Tittle pitched three innings, giving up two hits with three strikeouts.
Offensively, Tittle went 2 for 3 with two runs scored, Laney Keeton was 2 for 3 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs, Jase Julian went 2 for 4 with an RBI, Kristopher Jones was 2 for 5 with a run scored and Blake Wright hit a double with two runs scored and three RBIs as the at-bat leaders.
Curry 13, Addison 11
Will Haynes pitched five innings for Curry, giving up three hits with seven strikeouts. Jacob Bentley pitched two innings with a strikeout and Eli Kennedy got the win after pitching a no-hit inning with two strikeouts.
At the plate for the Yellow Jackets, Caleb Allred went 3 for 5 with a run scored and two RBIs, Haynes was 2 for 4, both doubles, with two runs scored and an RBI, Blanton Gillespie went 2 for 4 with a double, two runs scored and three RBIs and Carson Dunagan was 2 for 4 with two RBIs as the at-bat leaders.
Cagle pitched four innings for Addison with a strikeout. Tubb and Holt spent time on the mound in relief.
Offensively for the Bulldogs, Tubb went 2 for 4 with a run scored and a double and Christian Roberts was 2 for 5 with an RBI as the at-bat leaders.

Haleigh Lamon got the shutout win for Carbon Hill, giving up three this with nine strikeouts.
Offensively, Ana Guy went a perfect 3 for 3 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI, Tittle was 2 for 3 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs, Raelea Guy went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs and Keeton was 2 for 3 with an RBI as the at-bat leaders.
Lilly Banks pitched four innings for Dora with four strikeouts.
At the plate for Dora, McKenzie Tolbert went 2 for 2 and Aubrey Parker hit a double.
