Cody Headrick pitched five innings in the win for Cordova, giving up a hit and an unearned run, while striking out four batters. Taylor and Austin Dill shared time on the mound.
At the plate for the Blue Devils, Garrett Gilmore went 3 for 4 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI, Hunt was 2 for 2, both doubles, with a run scored and two RBIs as the at-bat leaders.
Matthew Smith pitched three innings for the Wildcats, striking out three batters. four other pitchers shared time on the mound.
Offensively for Oakman, Ethan Ray had a hit with an RBI and Ryan Mitchell and Jy Henderson both scored a run.
Sumiton Christian 11, Addison 5

Sumiton Christian scored six runs in the first on its way to an 11-5 victory over Addison on Saturday.
Ashton Harper was credited with the victory for the Eagles. He surrendered four runs on four hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out two. Braden Woodard and Shumate entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Briley Holt took the loss for Addison. He surrendered six runs on six hits over one inning, striking out one.
Sumiton Christian tallied 14 hits in the game. Tyler Ingle, Justin Hicks, and Young all had multiple hits for Sumiton Christian. Young, Hicks, and Ingle each collected three hits to lead the Eagles.

Cleburne Co. 9, Sumiton Christian 7
Bailey Phillips pitched five and two-thirds innings, giving up an earned run with two strikeouts. Alison Kelly pitched one and one-third innings with two strikeouts.
At the plate, Maddie McCrary went 2 for 4 with a double, a run scored and an RBI, Kalista Cornelison was 2 for 4 with a run scored, Ava McCrary went 2 for 4 and BG Braswell hit a homerun with two runs scored and two RBIs as the at-bat leaders.
Fort Payne 8, Sumiton Christian 4
Cornelison pitched six innings with a strikeout.
Offensively, Braswell went 3 for 4 with a triple, two runs scored and an RBI, Maddie McCrary was 2 for 4 with a run scored and an RBI, Cornelison went 2 for 4 and Annalace Rice was 2 for 3 with a run scored.
