At the plate, Ayden Payne went 3 for 4 with three runs scored, Tyler Morris was 3 for 4 with a double and a run scored, Aiden McGinnis went 2 for 2 with two runs scored and two RBIs and Spencer Rosenfeld was 2 for 4 with a run scored and an RBI as the at-bat leaders.

Curry 18, Addison 8

Will Haynes pitched four innings in the win for Curry, recording six strikeouts. Brodie Naramore pitched an inning in relief.

Offensively for the Yellow Jackets, Naramore went a perfect 4 for 4 with a double, five runs score and two RBIs, Eli Kennedy was 3 for 4 with a run scored and three RBIs, Jacob Bentley went 2 for 4, both doubles, with two runs scored and three RBIs, Will Haynes was 2 for 3 with an RBI and Carson Dunagan went 2 for 3 with three RBIs as the at-bat leaders.

Wilkins pitched two and two-thirds innings for Addison, striking out two batters.

Cagle led the Bulldogs’ offense, going 3 for 3 with two RBIs.

Fayette Co. 10, Dora 3

Garrett Hogland pitched three innings with a strikeout. Camden Hines and James Mata shared time on the mound in relief.

At the plate, Hogland went 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI and Ryan Harris was 2 for 3 with a run scored as the at-bat leaders.

Sumiton Christian snatched the lead late in the game in a 3-1 victory over West End on Thursday.

Eagles pitchers struck out 11.

Justin Hicks was the winning pitcher for the Eagles. He lasted four innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out six and walking zero. Tyler Ingle threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Ingle went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead the Eagles in hits.

Carbon Hill splits with Winfield, 10-1, 6-2

Laney Keeton got the Game 1 victory for Carbon Hill, pitching seven innings and giving up three hits and an earned run, while striking out nine batters.

At the plate, Keeton went 2 for 3 with two RBIs, Clay Tittle was 2 for 2 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI, Blake Wright went 2 for 3 with a double and four RBIs, and Jesse Walker was 2 for 4 with a run scored as the at-bat leaders.

Braden Amerson pitched three and two-thirds innings in Game 2 with five strikeouts. Kristopher Jones pitched three and one-third innings with five strikeouts.

Offensively, Tittle and Jones both had a hit and an RBI as the at-bat leaders.

Haleigh Lamon pitched seven innings in the win, giving up six hits and an earned run, while striking out seven batters.

Offensively, Kalee Edwards went 3 for 4 with two doubles, two runs scored and two RBIs, Raelea Guy was 2 for 4 with three runs scored, Alleigh Keeton went 2 for 4 with two RBIs, and Reese Tittle was 2 for 4 with a run scored as the at-bat leaders.

Ella Wright pitched five innings in the win, giving up five hits and an earned run with five strikeouts.

At the plate, Ambrey Taylor went 3 for 4 with two doubles, two runs scored and three RBIs, Linley Tubbs was 2 for 3 with a homerun, a double, four runs scored and two RBIs, Alayna Key went 2 for 3 with two runs scored and an RBI, Kylee Trotter was 2 for 3 with two runs scored and an RBI and Reese Miller recorded a double with two runs scored and an RBI as the at-bat leaders.

Kalista Cornelison pitched seven no-hit innings in the win for the Eagles, striking out 11 batters.
