Sumiton Christian 6, Addison 1

The Eagles honored head coach Jessica Aderholt for her 600th career victory in a presentation before the game, then added another win to the total after beating Addison, 6-1 on Tuesday.

Alison Kelly pitched seven innings for Sumiton Christian, giving up four hits with six strikeouts.

At the plate for the Eagles, Maddie McCrary went a perfect 3 for 3 with a double and three RBIs, Izzy Ingle was 2 for 4 with a run scored and BG Braswell had a hit with three runs scored and an RBI as the at-bat leaders.

Anna Luker pitched six innings for Addison, striking out three batters.

Carter went 2 for 3 with an RBI to lead the Bulldogs’ offense.

 

Oakman 2, Winfield 0

Missy Odom recorded 12 strikeouts in the area win.

Hayden 3, Jasper 1

Tyler Morrison pitched four innings, giving up two hits and a run while striking out four batters. Spencer Rosenfeld and Trysten Cacioppo spent time on the mound in relief.

Offensively, Aiden McGinnis went 2 for 3, both doubles, with a run scored, with Dalton Dockins and Kevin Elmore adding a hit each.

Winfield 10, Carbon Hill 0

Blake Wright pitched four innings, giving up a hit with six strikeouts. Kristopher Jones and Braden Amerson shared time in relief on the mound.

Jesse Walker recorded a hit.

Oakman 2, Dora 1

William Rainer pitched eight innings in the win for Oakman, giving up four hits and a run while striking out 11 batters.

At the plate for the Wildcats. Rainer went 3 for 4 with two RBIs, Ethan Ray was 2 for 4 and Colt Crowell had a hit with a run scored.

Dakota Cobb pitched eight innings for Dora, giving up six hits, two runs with eight strikeouts.

Offensively for the Bulldogs, Ryan Harris recorded a hit with a run scored, Cobb, Boone Martin and Cooper Martin each had a hit and Camden Hines drove-in a run.
