A second-half surge by the Itawamba(MS) Tribe proved to be too much for Bevill State, as the Bears fell in Glen Clem Gymnasium 86-73 on Thursday night in a game riddled with fouls for both teams.
The two teams combined for 55 fouls in the contest, 28 in the first half alone, forcing numerous roster changes to keep players from fouling out.

Bevill State led at halftime, 42-38.
The Bears play the Tribe in a rematch in Fulton, MS on Monday at 5:30 p.m.
