The Dora Bulldogs ended Day 1 of the AHSAA State Championship campaign with four wrestlers advancing to the Championship bracket semifinals.
Jayden Rouse (120 lbs.), Damon Clayton (132 lbs.), Delvin Taylor (160 lbs.) and Neil Foster (182 lbs.) locked-up Semifinal berths in the Class 1-4A portion of the tournament with wins in the opening and Quarterfinal matches and will look to secure championship final spots on Friday at Huntsville’s VBCC.
Connor Roberts (145 lbs.), Cameron Richardson (195 lbs.) and Cameron Gosha (220 lbs.) will battle for placement in the consolation bracket.
Dora finished Thursday in third place with 37.5 points behind first-place Weaver and second-place Ashville.
