Both of Wal-Win area’s wrestling programs — the Jasper Vikings and the Dora Bulldogs — have been ranked in the Top 5 for their classifications in preseason polls.
Jasper ranked third in the Alabama Wrestling Coaches Association 5A poll, with defending state champion Cole Carter (195 lbs), Antonio Nash (132 lbs) and Collin Langley (285 lbs) all rated as the top wrestler in their respective weight classes.
The Dora Bulldogs ranked fourth in the SEWrestle Class 1-4A poll and sixth in the Alabama Wrestling Coaches Association 1-4A poll, with defending state champion Neil Foster (170 lbs) rated as the top wrestler in his weight class.
