Down four points at halftime, 34-30, the Bevill State Bears outscored the Tennessee Valley Prep Academy Defenders 52-34 to secure a 82-68 victory on Friday night at Clem Gymnasium.
Jaylon Stevenson led the Bears with 19 points and four steals, Woody Alexander had 14 points and Zack Lawhorn scored 11 points with six rebounds and three steals,
The victory completes a season sweep of the Defenders by the Bears, who won the first contest, 98-55, on Dec. 16.
Bevill State returns to action on Saturday at 3p.m. when they host Wallace-Selma.
