Curry head coach DJ Emerson stated he wanted to see more consistency from his team as he gave an update on the Yellow Jackets’ fall practice on Tuesday.
“We’ve had some good days and we’ve had some bad days. We’ve let the heat determine how we’ve practice; on the days we’ve had more challenging days in the weight room, they struggle a little more in practice,” Emerson said. “They’re not where we want them to be and until they are, I’m not going to be satisfied and neither should the players be.”
Other notes from the practice update:
– Emerson called his senior leadership great, with nearly half the team composed of senior players. “They’ve really bought-in to what we’re trying to do and it’s been phenomenal for us.”
– Emerson will look for more reaction to the ball on defense, under the direction of coordinator BJ Baker.
