Bevill State secured its second-consecutive victory on Saturday afternoon, as well as its first conference as the Bears beat the Wallace-Selma Patriots, 81-57, at Clem Gymnasium.
Isiah Daniel led the Bears with 18 points and three steals, Donovan Shangase had 17 points and five rebounds, Skylar Hice scored 11 points and grabbed three steals and Jason Griffin contributed nine points and seven rebounds.
The two teams battled closely throughout the first period, with Bevill State taking a six-point advantage into halftime, 33-27.
A 9-0 run to open the second half set the tempo for the Bears to control the second half en route to the 81-57 victory.
Bevill State travels to Calhoun State on Monday in a division matchup.
