The Bevill State Bears face their toughest test of the season in the #5 team in the nation on Friday, losing to the Wallace-Hanceville Lions 8-0 in Game 1 and 13-0 in Game 2 at Hanceville.
Jessie Aston pitched five and one-third innings in Game 1, giving up five earned runs. Brynn Repicky recorded a hit. For the Lions, Sumiton Christian’s Gracie Ashley hit a double with a run scored.
Kyla Edmonson pitched three and one-third innings in Game 2, recording two strikeouts. Katelyn Makemson pitched two-thirds innings. Ashley went 2 for 3 with a run scored and an RBI for Wallace State.
