The Jasper Vikings recorded a two-game home sweep of the Minor Tigers on Wednesday, winning Game 1, 17-1 in five innings and followed with a Game 2, five-inning win, 22-1, at Valley Park.
Tyler Morrison pitched all five innings in Game 1, giving up a hit and an unearned run, while striking out six batters.
At the plate, Aiden McGinnis went 2 for 2 with four RBIs and two runs scored, Cole Sargent was 2 for 3 with a double, a run scored and an RBI, Lukas Clark recorded a hit with three RBIs and three runs scored, Morrison and Trysten Cacioppo both had a hit with two runs scored and an RBI, Kevin Elmore recorded a hit with three RBIs, Dalton Dockins scored two runs and drove-in a batter, Sage Rosenfeld had two RBIs and two runs scored and Ayden Payne scored two runs.
Jarrett Morrison pitched all five innings in Game 2, giving up a hit and an unearned run with four strikeouts.
Offensively, Dockins went 3 for 5 with a homerun, five RBIs and three runs scored, Payne and McGinnis were both 2 for 4 with two runs scored, McGinnis driving-in two runs while Payne drove-in one, Rosenfeld went 2 for 4 with a double, three runs scored and an RBI, Morrison had a hit with three runs scored, Elmore recorded a hit with two runs scored and two RBIs, Cacioppo drove-in three runs with a double and two runs scoredSargent had a hit with two runs scored and two RBIs and Landrum scored two runs with an RBI.
