The Jasper Vikings’ season came to a close on Saturday after losing Game 3 of their playoff series with Buckhorn, 8-7, at Valley Park.
Spencer Rosenfeld pitched three and one-third innings, striking out four batters. Jackson Ballard, Trysten Cacioppo and Jon Landrum all spent time on the mound in relief.
At the plate, Aiden McGinnis went 2 for 2 with a double, two runs scored and three RBIs, Dalton Dockins was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI, Ayden Payne hit a double with two runs scored, Rosenfeld hit a double with a run scored and two RBIs and Landrum recorded a double as the at-bat leaders.
