The Jasper Vikings’ Connor Elmore and the Meek Tigers’ Ory Frith both made great contributions in their respective teams’ victories on Friday night.
Elmore helped keep the Carver-Birmingham offense in check throughout the night with great pass defense and grabbed two interceptions to earn Southeast Hospice/WJLX Jasper Player of the Week honors.
A member of Meek’s runningback triad, Frith had another great performance as he rushed for 107 yards on seven carries with two touchdowns in the shutout over Shoals Christian to be named Southeast Hospice/WJLX Wal-Win Player of the Week.
