Jasper’s Spencer Rosenfeld and Sumiton Christian’s Jack Gable made sensational plays on Friday night to earn Southeast Hospice/WJLX/Kustom Trophy Player of the Week honors for Week 6.
In the Vikings’ 33-28 homecoming victory over Demopolis, Rosenfeld totaled 291 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns; completing 16 of 35 passes for 175 yards, rushing for 93 yards on 14 carries with two scores and caught a pass for 23 yards for a touchdown.
Gable looked unstoppable in the Eagles’ 39-0 shutout win over Brindlee Mountain, rushing 15 times for 101 yards, breaking 14 tackles and scoring three touchdowns, also catching a pass for 12 yards.
Both players will be presented with Player of the Week plaque in honor of their performances.
