The Bevill State Bears dropped both of Friday’s road games against Bishop State in Mobile, 4-1, in Game 1, and 8-0, in Game 2.
Jessy Aston pitched six innings in Game 1, giving up three earned runs with two walks. At the plate, Skylar Black went 1 for 3 with an RBI.
Katelyn Makemson pitched three and two-thirds innings in Game 2, giving up four hits, two earned runs with two strikeouts. Jessy Aston, Kayla Edmondson and Emily Adkins all shared time in the circle. Offensively, Rachel Whitmer hit a triple, with Santana Clark, Isabelle Santos, Addison Rose and Carlie Burnham recording a hit each.
