Wayne Morris King, 80, of Sumiton, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents, William and Oma King; son, Wayne Jr. King; stepson, Chuck Kimbrell.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Rutledge King; son, William Admiral King; daughter, Cheryl Trotnic; stepson, Randy Kimbrell (Lea); brothers, Glen King (Mary) and Jeffery Paul King (Peggy); sisters, Saundra Ann Germain (James) and Gail Miraclo (Ron); four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; uncles and aunts, Morris and Essie Pennington, and Kenneth and Evelyn Pennington; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and dear friends.
It is the family's request that flower donations be made to the COVID unit at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.
