Corner 7, Jasper 2

Jackson Ballard pitched three innings in the loss for Jasper, giving up two earned runs. Trysten Cacioppo, Jon Landrum and Jarrett Morrison shared time in relief.

Offensively, Tyler Morrison went 2 for 4 with an RBI, Sage Rosenfeld had a hit with an RBI and Ayden Payne and Aiden McGinnis both had a hit with a run scored.

 

Cordova 6, Carbon Hill 4

A Hunt picked up the win for Cordova, giving up an earned run and four hits, while striking out seven batters. Dunagan pitched one inning, striking out a batter. At the plate for the Blue Devils, K Headrick hit a double with an RBI, Japeth Howell recorded a hit, Evan Turner drove-in a run, Cody Headrick scored two runs and Cade Naramore and Jake Kiser had a run scored each.

For Carbon Hill, Kristopher Jones pitched three and two-thirds innings giving up two hits with three strikeouts. Blake Wright pitched three and one-third inning, giving up no hits, three earned runs and striking out eight batters. Offensively, Douglas Pate went 1 for 2 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI, Laney Keeton recorded a double, Clay Tittle had a hit with a run scored and Ashton Vaughn scored a run.

 

Sumiton Christian 12, Berry 5

Ashton Harper got the win for the Eagles, recording eight strikeouts in three and one-half innings.

Tyler Ingle had a hit and an RBI, Austin Scobey had two hits, Justin hicks had a hit, Landon Shumate had two hits, Jake McDonald had a hit, and Jake White had a hit and an RBI.

Carbon Hill 18, Sulligent 4

Haleigh Lamon got the six-inning win for the Bulldogs, recording seven strikeouts.

Mahaley Pugh went 3 for 4 with a double and three RBIs and Alleigh Keeton was 2 for 4 with four runs scored and three RBIs to lead the Carbon Hill offense.
