Winston Co.’s Rakim Moore and Jasper’s Micah Pledger have been selected as the Kustom Trophy/WJLX 101.5 Players of the Week after their performances on Friday night.
Moore totaled 389 all-purpose yards in the Yellow Jackets’ victory over Carbon Hill; running for 182 yards, 132 yards in receiving and 75 yards of passing as Winston County advanced its record to 2-1 on the season Moore is the Wal-Win Area Player of the Week.
Pledger ran 20 times for 71 yards, while catching three passes for 42 yards and scored the Vikings’ lone score in the loss to No. 2 Ramsey. Pledger is the Jasper Player of the Week.
Both players will receive commemorative trophies at the WJLX Football Awards in December.
