Jasper’s Bubba Odom and Dora’s Garrett Hogland had great performances in Week 3’s Friday night match-ups to earn Southeast Hospice/WJLX Player of the Week honors.
Former three-year starting quarterback Odom found himself in a familiar spot against Ramsay — back under center due to injuries. Odom completed 11 of 21 passes for 110 yards and a touchdown to be named the Jasper Southeast Hospice/WJLX Player of the Week.
Hogland proved to be a multi-threat for the Bulldogs in the victory over Curry, catching two touchdown passes, running for a score and also lining up at quarterback and completing a number of passes to earn Wal-Win Area Southeast Hospice/WJLX Player of the Week.
Both Odom and Hogland will be presented with award plaques and interviewed this week to commemorate their performances.
