Oakman’s Kasen Dickerson and Jasper’s Andrew Herring both turned in great performances in Week 3 to earn WJLX/Kustom Trophy Player of the Week honors.
In Oakman’s big region victory over Midfield, Dickerson ran for 83 yards on 18 carries and scored four touchdowns to be named as the WJLX/Kustom Trophy Wal-Win Player of the Week.
Herring recorded 11 tackles for the Vikings in Thursday in the loss to Fairfield to be named WJLX/Kustom Trophy Jasper Player of the Week.
Both will be featured in an interview and be given an award plaque at the WJLX Football Awards Show.
