Lynn’s Cale Tittle had a stellar showing in a pivotal win over No. 7 Pickens County Friday night, while Garrett Busby showed his leadership for the Jasper Vikings once again against Hayden.
Tittle totalled 316 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns against Pickens County: rushing for 252 yards with three touchdowns and passing for 64 yards with a touchdown to be named the WJLX/Kustom Trophy Wal-Win Area Player of the Week. Tittle’s performance comes on the heels of a seven touchdown effort against Tarrant a week prior.
Busby contributions in his senior season stretches across several platforms on offense and special teams; from lining as a slot receiver to returning kick offs, Busby continues to bring big plays for the Vikings each week and earning WJLX/Kustom Trophy Jasper Player of the Week honors.
Both players will be interviewed this week and receive invitations to the postseason awards.
