Cale Tittle’s play for the Lynn Bears in their Class 1A, second-round 41-14 victory over Addison was nothing short of brilliant, as well as a key factor in the final outcome of the game.
Tittle totaled 318 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns: throwing for 181 yards with a touchdown, while adding 137 yards rushing with three scores to be named the Southeast Hospice/WJLX Player of the Week – making Tittle the season’s first two-time winner. Tittle previously won the award after his Week 5 performance against Sumiton Christian.
He will receive a commemorative plaque in honor of his performance and will be featured as part of this week’s playoff preview show.
