Jasper’s Spencer Rosenfeld and Dora’s Sean Pryor both game up with huge plays in crucial region contests on Friday night.
In the Vikings’ 25-13 victory over Hayden, Rosenfeld, the Southeast Hospice/WJLX Jasper Player of the Week, was 7 of 14 passing for yards, while rushing for 101 yards on 12 carries with three scores — amassing 226 all-purpose yards on the night, helping Jasper keep its postseason plans on track.
Pryor, the Southeast Hospice/WJLX Wal-Win Area Player of the Week, stepped-up impressively against archrival Cordova in a 41-21 win that carried huge region implications with it as he passed for 326 yards on 13 of 26 completions with two touchdowns, while running for 93 yards on 11 carries with a touchdown. For the game, Pryor had 419 all-purpose yards and three total touchdowns.
Both players will receive plaques in honor of their efforts and be interviewed for the WJLX Player of the Week Spotlight.
