It may have been Week 1, but Dora’s Sean Pryor and Jasper’s Luke Horsley turned-in postseason-level performances on Friday night.
Pryor proved equally potent on offense and defense in the Bulldogs’ 27-13 win over No. 5 Oneonta, totalling 267 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns, while recording numerous sacks and tackles for a loss in the overall effort, earning WJLX/Kustom Trophy Wal-Win Player of the Week.
Horsley was troublesome for the Cullman offense in Jasper’s 15-13 loss Friday night, as he recorded 10 tackles in the contest, earning WJLX/Kustom Trophy Jasper Player of the Week.
