Dora’s Sean Pryor and Jasper’s Titus Waldrop came up with clutch plays in their respective games to earn Kustom Trophy/WJLX 101.5 Player of the Week honors for Week 9.
Moving from wide receiver to quarterback on Friday night in the second half, Pryor amassed 190 all-purpose yards with four total touchdowns, running for a two-point conversion and helping the Bulldogs pull away from the Northside Rams in crucial region contest. Pryor is the first two-time winner on the season, having previously won the Kustom Trophy/WJLX 101.5 Wal-Win Area Player of the Week in Week 1.
Waldrop accounted for both of the Vikings’ touchdowns against John Carroll, with the senior hauling-in three passes for 68 yards to earn Kustom Trophy/WJLX 101.5 Jasper Player of the Week honors.
Both players will be interviewed this week and invited to the postseason awards banquet.
