Cordova’s David Odom surpassed 300 yards on the ground for the Blue Devils on Friday night, while Jasper’s JoJo Odom harrassed Wenonah’s offense throughout Thursday’s contest, both of whom earned Player of the Week honors.
David Odom rushed for 301 yards on 26 carries, scoring four touchdowns in Cordova’s victory over Hamilton last Friday night, earning the Blue Devils the first win of the season and Kustom Trophy/WJLX Wal-Win area Player of the Week.
JoJo Odom spearheaded the Jasper defense on Thursday night’s loss to Wenonah, recording seven tackles including three tackles for a loss to be named Kustom Trophy/WJLX Jasper Player of the Week.
Both players will be interviewed this week and invited to the WJLX Postseason Awards banquet,
