Roger Dale Thacker, 58, of Quinton passed away Friday, March 5, 2021, at UAB Hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2021, at Bell Sumiton Chapel. Visitation will begin one hour prior to services. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leigh Thacker; grandson, Nick Thacker; mother, Martha Thacker; and father, Paul Thacker.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Thacker; grandson, Aiden Sanford; granddaughters, Ashlyn Skelton and Ivy Skelton; sister, Rita Freeman (Bo); nieces, Wendy Jones (Barrett) and Kaitlyn Freeman; nephew, Zachary Sanford (Samantha); and a host of other family and friends.
