John Albert Fancher, age 74 of Cordova, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021. He was a US Army veteran. He served two tours in Vietnam. He was a retired coal miner from Drummond Coal Company. He was a member of the UMWA.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Hunter's Chapel Holy Church of Christ. Mark Otts will officiate.
Mr. Fancher was preceded in death by his Father-John Henry Fancher; Mother-Tommie Lee Fancher.
He is survived by his Wife-Barbara Ann Fancher; Daughters-Robin Alexandratos (Bajil) and Holly Fancher (John); Sons-Brian Fancher (Debbie) and Terry Spears; Sister-Jeanette Ajaelu; Brother-Ronald Fancher (Joyce); 5 Grandsons.
