Frances Kilgore, 87, of Jasper, passed away Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church since 1944.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 5 p.m. at New Canaan Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Bill Martin will officiate.
Mrs. Kilgore was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Kilgore; son, Paul David Kilgore; parents, Holly Felix and Rachel Dellma Roberts; grandson, Jeremy Smith; and brothers and sisters, Lois, Cecil, Reba, Mrytle, Thomas, Baby and Zora.
She is survived by her sons, Carl Kilgore (Donna), Charlie Kilgore (Kim) and John Kilgore (Kim); daughter, Connie Drummond (Greg); daughter-in-law, Connie Kilgore Fewell; brother, Buddy Roberts (Betty); grandchildren, Dusty Kilgore, Micah Kilgore, Lori Waits (Charlie), Amy Cook (Joseph), Beth Stephenson (Justin), Whitney Kilgore, Jacob Haynes (Kendall), Krysta Drummond, Tyler Kilgore (Megan), Josh Kilgore, Kelsey Wade (Lee), Sydney Woods, Jolie Woods and Hayden Woods; 17 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews who she loved dearly; and special friends at her place of worship New Canaan Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Dusty Kilgore, Micah Kilgore, Jacob Haynes, Josh Kilgore, Tyler Kilgore and Daniel Woodard.
