Just over three months until the kickoff of the high school football season, Mark Mitchell has stepped down as the head football coach at Winston County High School.
Mitchell confirmed to WJLX that he has taken a position at Gulf Shores High School.
Mitchell went 28-26 as head coach from 2018-2022.
